Roberto Clemente - 30th Anniversary of Death - 1972-2002...
Baseball legend, Hispanic role model, humanitarian, Roberto Clemente still continues to inspire. Shown here is a collage of three photographs plus his stats, commemorating the 30th anniversary of his tragic death on December 31,1972. It's joined by three uncancelled, collectible postal stamps. In the middle is a 1984 US stamp honoring Roberto Clemente - the third baseball player to receive a stamp. On the left is the 2001 US stamp commemorating Forbes Field, the early home of the Pittsburgh Pirates; on the right a 1969 stamp commemorating the centennial of Professional Baseball.
Matted in black, it's sized to fit a standard 11x14 frame.
