On March 22, 1985, the USPS issued a set of four stamps to commemorate Four Duck Decoys - the Broadbill, Mallard, Canvasback, and Redhead.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover with the stamp for the Redhead Duck Decoy cancelled from the city of issue (Shelburne, Vt. - home to the Shelbourne Museum which houses a large collection of decoys) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a full-color picture of a hunter laying out his Redhead Duck Decoys.  It's printed on silk, the luster lending an almost three dimensional quality to the picture. Collectible, historic, this is a great piece of Americana.

Double matted in blue & wine, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
