On October 1, 2001, the USPS issued a stamp to honor Porky Pig.  This was the fifth and last stamp of a series of five that were issued over a five-year period to celebrate the laughter generated by several Looney Toon characters. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp of America's Favorite Pig cancelled from the city of issue (Beverly Hills, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.  Note the special cancellation for this stamp!

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Porky Pig whose stuttering voice gave him his own distinct personality.  This is a wonderful collectible, historic, piece of movie and animation memorabilia. The producer of this cover has also included a short commentary about Porky, which we've included.

Double matted in blue & white, this piece will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
