This spectacular full-color photo print of a B-17 is joined by an uncancelled, historic, collectible stamp issued in 1994 to commemorate the bombing raids made by the B-17's with the aid of their fighter escorts, the P-51 Mustangs. This stamp is but one of ten that was issued in 1994 to commemorate events of World War II that took place 50 years before in 1944. With only one on a sheet, these stamps are now in the hands of collectors who have to compromise the entire sheet to get one stamp.
