On September 2, 1995, the USPS issued a set of ten stamps commemorating WWII events that had taken place in 1945. One of these events was the Allied Liberation of Concentration Camps. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Honolulu, HI) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a woman survivor with a photograph of camp prisoners in the background. This is one of several pieces of Postal Stamp Art celebrating Judaica offered by Wall Art Collectibles.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included as well as a short Commentary about this event***
