Zion National Park.... On June 28, 2009, USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of majestic Zion National Park in Utah. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new full-color 79-cents stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The color cachet
(artwork on the envelope) features a scenic view of Zion with a
facsimile of the 8-cents stamp celebrating Zion National Park in 1935.
The picture is printed on silk with an embossed gold border. This is
one of many pieces of postal stamp art celebrating the beauty and
diversity of America offered by Wall Art Collectibles.
Double matted in blue & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity included***
