On November 21, 1982, Yugoslavia issued a set of four stamps to celebrate the Winter Olympics that would be held in Sarajevo in 1984. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Belgrade) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the beautiful dome of the Evangelic Church (also on the stamp), symbolizing the various cultures and religions found in Yugoslavia. The producer of this cover has also written a short commentary about Yugoslavia on the back of the envelope. We have made a copy for you.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
