This black and white photo print of New York Yankees legend Joe DiMaggio is joined by three uncancelled, collectible postal stamps. On the right is the 1939 stamp celebrating 100 years of Baseball as a game. The middle stamps commemorates the Subway Series of the 1950's between the NY Yankees and the Brooklyn Dodgers...one of the fifteen events selected to represent the decade of the 1950's. The stamp on the right, issued in 1969, commemorates the Centennial of Professional Baseball.
Matted in Yankee Blue, of course, this piece will fit a standard 11x14 frame.
