On May 26, 1994, the USPS issued a set of three stamps to commemorate the 1994 World Cup Soccer Games hosted for the first time by the United States. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with one of the three stamps cancelled from the city of issue (East Rutherford, NJ) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) highlights the athleticism of the players. The producer of this cover has also included a short commentary about some of the aspects of the game; a copy has been made for you.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
