On May 2, 1996, the USPS issued a set of twenty stamps to commemorate the Summer Centennial Olympic Games being held in Atlanta, Ga. Shown here is an envelope with the stamp celebrating Women's Swimming cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a female swimmer.  The producer of this cover has written a short commentary about the sport of swimming, including several facts about women's swimming, in particular. Historic (especially since this stamp marks the Centennial Olympic Games), collectible, this is a great piece of Swimming Memorabilia.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included plus the Commentary***
