On December 1, 1979, the USPS issued an inprinted postcard featuring a female gymnast to commemorate the upcoming 1980 Olympics. Shown here is an envelope with the imprint or "stamp" for Women's Gymnastics cancelled from the city of issue (Ft. Worth, TX) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a female gymnast and three small views of the floor exercise.  The producer of this cover has also included a commentary about this event, one of most popular of the summer Olympics.  Historic, collectible, this is a great piece of Gymnastic Memorabilia and a perfect gift for a gymnast.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
