On February 7, 1980, the USPS issued a set of five stamps celebrating five different Windmills represented by five different states. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp for the Texas Windmill, a Railroad Windmill also known as a "Wind Machine," cancelled from the city of issue (Lubbock, TX) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a picture of the Railroad Windmill as well as a brieg commentary about it.
Double matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
