On June 12, 1971, the USPS issued four stamps to celebrate and call attention to Wildlife Conservation. The four animals selected were the Trout, the Alligator, the Polar Bear, and the California Condor. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover for the complete set of four cancelled from the city of issue (Avery Island, La.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features drawings of all four animals. Collectible, historic, it's a great gift for anyone in the field of wildlive conservation.

Double Matted in green & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
