On February 23, 1990, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Statehood of Wyoming. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the full-color stamp, depicting the Grand Teton Mountains, cancelled from the city of issue (Cheyenne, WY) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features several scenes of Wyoming, from Devil's Tower to the State Bird & Flower. The producer of this cover has written a brief commentary about Wyoming, which we've included.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity plus Commentary Included***
