On July 10, 1940, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Statehood of Wyoming. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Cheyenne, WY) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features the State Capitol, the State Seal, and a map of Wyoming.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
