On May 29, 1998, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Statehood of Wisconsin.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the full-color stamp, depicting a farm scene, cancelled from the city of issue (Madison, WI) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features another farm scene, this time with dairy cattle. It's printed on silk, the luminosity giving the picture an almost three dimensional quality.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
