On April 25, 1962, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the Seattle World's Fair. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Seattle, WA) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features a view of the fair with its monorail and distinctive Space Needle.
