On January 6, 1993, the USPS issued an imprinted postcard with the imprint or 'stamp' commemorating the Washington National Cathedral. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the 'stamp', depicting this superb example of Gothic Architecture, cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above. 

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) a drawing of the Cathedral.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
