On January 28, 1999, the USPS issued its first die-cut love stamp...a beautiful Victorian Heart in pastel colors. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Loveland, CO) on the first day of issue captioned above. Note: The stamp is placed in the middle of the envelope, incorporated into the design.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features lace, hearts, and flowers all blending together to make a large Victorian Valentine. Rendered in watercolors, the artwork encompasses the entire envelope. Collectible, historic, this is a beautiful way to say, "I love you."
Double matted in green & white, we've sized it to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. At Wall Art Collectibles we always mat to standard frame sizes so you have the option of selecting the frame of your choice. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
