On March 1, 1991, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 200th Anniversary of the Statehood of Vermont. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the full-color stamp, depicting a bucolic farm scene, cancelled from the city of issue (Bennington, VT) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features the State Capitol at Montpelier as well as the State Flag.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
