On April 28,1987, the USPS issued a stamp honoring the 100th Anniversary of the United Way Campaign. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the United Way Logo printed on silk and surrounded by gold embossing.
