On July 28, 1997, the USPS issued a set of fifteen stamps to commemorate Classic American Dolls.   Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with five of the large, full-color stamps....Doll by Ludwig Greiner, "Betsy McCall", Percy Crosby's "Skippy", "Maggie Mix-up", and, Dolls by Albert Schoenhut cancelled from the city of issue (Anaheim, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a scene right out of the 1950's...two young girls in rapt attention in front of a Doll Shop.  It's rendered in watercolors by award-winning cachet maker, Sue Allen.  Historic, collectible, visually beautiful...this is a great way to express your passion of Dolls.

Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
