On July 4, 1975, the USPS issued a stamp to honor the Continental Army. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp depicting a Continental Soldier in a snappy red, white and blue uniform cancelled from the city of issue (Washington DC) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Continental Soldier. Collectible, historic, this is a great piece of U.S. Army and US Bicentennial memorabilia.
Double matted in green & white, this is matted to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
