On September 17, 1987, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the Bicentennial of the Signing of the US Constitution. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Philadelphia, PA.) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and the President of the Convention, George Washington. On the wall is the Great Seal of the US created in 1782. This is one of several collectible, historic pieces of Patrotic Americana and Political Memorabilia offered by Wall Art Collectbles.
Double matted in light blue & dark blue, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included as well as a short commentary about this event***
