On January 1, 1976, the USPS "kicked off" the Bicentennial Year by issuing 3 stamps depicting the famous painting by A. M. Willard titled "Spirit of 76".  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all three of the new stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Pasadena, CA.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the Willard painting. This is a cover that is getting extremely hard to find, especially with all three stamps.  If you are a collector of Bicentennial items and don't have one of these, now is your chance.  If you're one of those people who kick themselves for not having saved anything from 1976, now is your chance too!  This is one of several collectible, historic pieces of Patrotic Americana and Political Memorabilia offered by Wall Art Collectbles.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
