On May 1, 1992, the company of Fleetwood produced a Commemorative Cover in the form of a Proof Card to honor General Mark W. Clark. Cancelled on the aforementioned date from Sockets Harbor, N.Y., this cover pays homage to a man with a long and illustrious Army career.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the proof card) features a portrait of Hines in WWII. Historic, collectible, this cover is a great piece of US Army memorabilia.
