General George Patton....

On November 11, 1953, the USPS issued a stamp to honor General George S. Patton, Jr. and the Armored Forces of the U.S. Army. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Fort Knox, Ky.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of Patton and a tank. Collectible, historic, this great piece of U.S. Army memorabilia is paired with a full-color photo print of an M-1 Abrams Tank.

Matted in military green, this is matted to fit a standard 11X 14 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
