On January 26, 1971, the USPS issued a stamp to honor General Douglas MacArthur, Supreme Commander Allied Forces Southwest Pacific Area. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Norfolk, Va.) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a portrait of MacArthur. Collectible, historic, this is a great piece of U.S. Army memorabilia.

Double matted in military green & white, this is matted to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
