In 2000, the USPS issued a set of four different stamps honoring Four Distinguished Soldiers...John L. Hines, Omar Bradley, Alvin York, and Audie Murphy. These four uncancelled, collectible stamps have been added to a full-color print of the US Army Flag. For individual biographies of each soldier, go to the individual First Day Cover for each man. We have included the header from the sheet which gives the date each photo was taken and the Insignia information.
Matted in dark military green this piece is hand made and sized to fit a standard 11 x 14 frame. This piece is a POSTAL STAMP ART exclusive...not found in stores.
