Convair's B-58 Hustler was selected as the U.S. Air Force's first supersonic strategic bomber. Shown here is a Commemorative Cover, an envelope with the stamp commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the USAF as its own service branch is cancelled from Ft. Worth, Texas (Convair's Headquarters), November 11, 1997 (The first test flight on the same date in 1956.)
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a full-color aerial view of the B-58, a total of 116 delivered to the Air Force. The company that produced this cover has written a brief commentary about this plane, which we've included.
Matted in blue, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. At Wall Art Collectibles, we always mat to standard frame sizes, allowing you to select the frame of your choice.
