The T-38 Talon is a high-altitude, supersonic jet trainer used primarily by Air Education and Training Command for undergraduate pilot and pilot instructor training. Over 60,000 pilots have earned their wings in Talons. Shown here is a Commemorative Cover, an envelope with the stamp commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the USAF as its own service branch is cancelled from Edwards Air Force Base, April 10, 1998.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a full-color aerial view looking down at a T-38 Talon. The company that produced this cover has written a brief commentary about this plane, which we've included.
Matted in blue, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. At Wall Art Collectibles, we always mat to standard frame sizes, allowing you to select the frame of your choice.
