On July 4, 1988, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the Tournament of Roses Parade and the 75th Anniversary of the Rose Bowl Game. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with a rose stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Pasadena, CA) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The color cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts scenes from the Tournament of Roses and the Rose Bowl. The producer of this cover has written a short commentary about the Parade and the Bowl Game; we've made a copy for you.
Double matted in green & white, it will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included ***
