On March 1, 2003, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the Tiffany Lamp, first created by Louis Comfort Tiffany in 1895. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Biloxi, MS) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features two Tiffany Lamps. The actual stamps with a black background show off Favrile, irredescent glass blended from bits and pieces of discarded glass., a trademark of the coveted Tiffany Lamp. Any collector of Tiffany Glass will love to have this first day cover displayed in their home or office. The producer of this cover has also written a short commemtary about Louis Comfort Tiffany and his timeless treasure, the Tiffany Lamp. A copy has been included for you.

Double matted in green & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
