On June 10, 1983, the USPS honored THOMAS H. GALLAUDET with a Stamp.   Shown here is a genuine FIRST DAY COVER, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (WEST HARTFORD, CT) on the first day of issue captioned above.  The color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a drawing of Gallaudet in the background with a teacher and deaf child in the foreground.

It's a PERFECT GIFT to honor that SPECIAL SOMEONE  IN THE FIELD OF DEAF COMMUNICATION.

Double matted in GREEN AND WHITE, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
