TED WILLIAMS HITTING A HOME RUN.....this print captures all the grace and power of one of Baseball's Legends. It is paired with a beautiful full-color First Day Cover issued in 1988 from the island of Grenada. The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features Fenway Park. Grenada produced a cover for each team in existence at that time with 3 stamps honoring players. The exception was the Yankees (they got 4 stamps for 4 players.)
The Red Sox players honored are Wade Boggs, Roger Clemens and, what a surprise, Ted Williams. This cover (envelope) is in pristeen condition - a MUST for a Boston fan.
