On June 16, 1995, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the 150th Anniversary of the Statehood of Texas.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the full-color stamp, which depicts a cowboy on horse holding the Texas flag, cancelled from the city of issue (Auston, TX) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The color cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features a watercolor picture incorporating Sam Houston, the Alamo, the Texas Flag, and an Oil Derrick into the shape of the state of Texas.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
