On March 30, 1968, the USPS issued a stamp commemorating the Texas World's Fair and the 250th Anniversary of San Antonio, Texas. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (San Antonio, TX) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features the Alamo as well as a map of Texas.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
