On jULY 13, 1978, the USPS issued a stamp to celebrate the Steinway Piano. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Interlochen, MI), on the first day of issue captioned above.
The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope produced by a private company, not the post office) features a beautiful grand piano.
