On April 8, 1981, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the Statue of Liberty and featured her Torch on the stamp.  Four years later on July 18, 1985, the USPS honored the scuptor of the Stautue of Liberty, F. A. Bartholdi. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover for both stamps.  The envelope has each new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Dallas, Texas for the 1981 stammp) and New York City for the 1985 stamp) on the first day of issue captioned above for each stamp.

The black & white cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the Statue of Liberty with the words,"Freedom of Conscience...an American Right. This is one of several collectible, historic pieces of Patrotic Americana offered by Wall Art Collectbles.

Double matted in dark green & maroon, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
