This full-color photo of the interior of Busch Stadium, home to the St. Louis Cardinals, with the Arch in the background is joined by three collectible, uncancelled stamps...on the left is the 1939 stamp commemorating the Centennial of Baseball; on the right is the 1969 stamp commemorating the Centennial of Professional Baseball. In the middle is a 2000 stamp issued by the USPS to honor Cardinal Great Rogers Hornsby ..... it was on a sheet of twenty stamps (Legends of Baseball) celebrating twenty of the best baseball players to ever have played the game in the twentieth century. Because there is only one Hornsby stamp to a sheet, it's hard to get.
Matted in Red, this piece is sized to fit a standard 11 x 14 frame.
