On August 20, 2005, the USPS issued a five-stamp series to commemorate Five Sporty Cars from the 1950's....the 1952 Nash Healey, the 1954 Kaiser Darrin, the 1953 Studebaker Starliner, the 1953 Chevrolet Corvette, and the 1955 Ford Thunderbird. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover for the Nash Healey, an envelope with the stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Detroit, MI) on the first day of issue captioned above. Note the special postmark created for the cancellation of this set of stamps on the first day.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the 1952 Nash Healey against a mountain backdrop. The engine and main parts were produced by Nash at its plant in Kenosha, WI, then shipped to England where the chassis with 'trailing -link' front-end suspension was added by the Healey Motor Company. The chassis with engines were then shipped to Turin, Italy, where the custom bodies were built by hand by Farina. The producer of this cover has written a short commentary about this prestigious automobile...we've included a copy for you.

Double matted in blue & white, this item will fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity plus the Short Commentary Included***
