On October 28, 2002, the USPS issued a set of four different Snowmen, created by an American crafter. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all four stamps cancelled from the city of issue (Houghton, Michigan) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a beautifully decorated Snowman with feathered friend welcoming you to a home decorated for the Christmas Season. The artwork is rendered in watercolors and won the award for best cachet for 2002!
