On January 10, 1988, the USPS issued a stamp celebrating the sport of Slalom Skiing in conjunction with the Winter Olympic Games being held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (Anchorage, Alaska) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The monochromatic blue cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a downhill racer.

Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included ***
