On February 5, 1988, the USPS issued a set of four stamps to celebrate eight different Cat Breeds (two breeds on each stamp.) Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover for the Siamese Cat and Exotic Shorthair Cat Stamp cancelled from the city of issue (New York City) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features drawings of both cats in full-color...affectionate Siamese and the proud Exotic Shorthair. This company has also printed a short commentary on the back of the envelope for each cat. We have a made a copy for you.
