On July 2, 1965, the USPS issued a stamp honoring the 100th Anniversary of the Salvation Army. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the new stamp cancelled from the city of issue (New York City) on the first day of issue captioned above.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) features the founder, General William Booth, and the organization's insignia.

Double matted in blue and white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 picture frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
