Deep Sea Fish....

On June 5, 2001, the most northerly island in the Kingdom of Tonga, Niuafo'ou, issued a set of three stamps commemorating three different fish of the deep ocean...the Flying Fish, the Sword Fish, and the Skipjack Tuna.  Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with all three large, full-colored stamps cancelled from Niuafo'ou, the city of issue on the first day of issue captioned above.  Note the clever cancellation depicting a swordfish.

The cachet (artwork on the envelope) depicts all three fish in a subtle underwater montage.  Any time a First Day Cover has the entire set of stamps in a series, it becomes more collectible.

Matted in blue, it's sized to fit a standard 8x10 frame.  ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
