On October 21, 1993, the USPS issued a set of four different secular holiday stamps, one of which is a delightful Snowman in profile. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, an envelope with the Snowman stamp cancelled from the city of issue (New York City) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) features a Snowman looking quite jaunty in his top hat and red scarf. It's printed on silk, giving luster and depth to the picture.
Double matted in blue & white, this piece is sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
