On April 4, 1985, the USPS issued a set of five stamps celebrating seashells found off the coasts of North America. Shown here are three of these stamps ....the Lighting Whelk, the Calico Scallop, and the New England Neptune. They are paired with a delicious full-color photo print showing an array of shells.... Triton's Trumpet, a Golden Cowrie, a Green Turban and nine others identified by the accompanying piece of literature.
