On March 18, 2000, the USPS issued a stamp to commemorate the Ryman Auditorium, the historic home of the Grand Old Opry and "mother church" of Country Music. Shown here is a genuine First Day Cover, in this case a printed postcard with the imprint cancelled from the city of issue (Nashville, TN) on the first day of issue captioned above.
The full-color cachet (artwork on the envelope) shows the now-restored Ryman printed on silk.
Double matted in blue & white, it's sized to fit a standard 8 X 10 frame. ***Certificate of Authenticity Included***
