On January 20, 1981, Ronald Reagan was sworn in as the 40th President of the United States. Shown here is a genuine Commemorative Inaugural Cover with the postmark "freezing" the date and place that the inauguration occurred. The fifteen cents flag stamp furnished current postage, for without it, the post office would not cancel.
